Local Attractions

Take a short drive to visit attractions of nearby Sewerby Hall and gardens, RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton, Flamborough Head with ancient and modern lighthouses and Heritage Coast, Burton Agnes Hall and gardens (a magnificent example of Elizabethan architecture), and Sledmere House (the Yorkshire Wolds premier stately home).

2007 Introduced the Bridlington Eye on the Bay.

Slightly further afield you will find 'The Deep' submarium in Hull, Castle Howard famous for being the location of the outstanding TV drama "Brideshead Revisited", the historic city of York with its glorious minster, have a day out at the races in Beverley, visit Eden Camp (recreated World War II camp), or the picturesque resort of Whitby where Bram Stoker set his famous novel "Dracula".

A visit to Yorkshire would not be complete without appreciating the beauty of the East Riding Wolds and the splendorous North Yorkshire Moors, with a visit to "Heartbeat" country and a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
